Gretchen Amelia Adams 66, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on February 26, 2018. She was the daughter of James A Adams Jr of Spartanburg and the late Margie F. Adams. Gretchen was Director of sales support with Charter Communications in Clearwater, FL. In addition to her father, she is also survived by her stepmother, Michelle Adams of Spartanburg, her partner of 20 years, Dennis Kapp; sister, Jennifer Adams-Cook (Larry) of Inman; brother, Tim Adams (Ellen) of Hudson, FL., Nieces, Shai Adams and Summer Huddleston; nephew, Tommy Weaver. Great nieces and nephews; Matthew Adams-Gibson, Hayden McElrath, Nolan McElrath, Mason Adams, Halo Adams-Gibson. Also her beloved bunnies, Nutmeg, Andy, Warhol, and Banjo. She was predeceased by a brother, James Reed Adams. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 3rd, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating.
The family is at the home of her sister in Inman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, PO Box 874, Williston, FL 32696 C/O Finelli or any animal rescue of your choice.
