Gregorio "Eddie" Gonzalez, 65, of 240 Oak Circle Boiling Springs passed away Monday, January 26th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Eddie was born in Huatulco, Mexico on May 10, 1949, came to the United States, and was reared by the late William "Bill" Charles and Evelyn Estell George Knox. For a number of years, he was a gas attendant at Knox's Exxon and Grocery. He was a good, loving and kind person who always made you smile; and he couldn't wait to meet Jesus.
His survivors include a step brother, Timothy Todd Knox, an aunt, Nancy Knox, nieces, Meggan Brie Harrelson, Ashley Knox, Amanda Knox, Kristen Knox, and a nephew, Cory Knox. In addition to his adoptive parents, he was predeceased by three step brothers, Terry Moss, Joel Knox and Ted Knox.
The family is at 240 Oak Circle, Boiling Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gregorio Gonzalez Memorial Fund, PO Box 192 Inman, SC 29349.
