Graham Eugene Padgett, 80, of 104 Rockwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at 101 Castleford Road, Moore, SC. Mr Padgett was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 26, 1933, a son of the late Mildred (Griffin) Padgett and Graham Padgett and was the widower of Addie Janice (Franklin) Padgett. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of dedicated service and from Hayssen Inc in Duncan, SC. He was a member of Legacy Outreach in Pauline, SC. Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Padgett Blank (Konrad), of Moore; Janis Padgett Johnson, of Moore; a son, Steven Eugene Padgett (Kim Dionne), of Spartanburg; two sisters, Annette Stevenson, of Spartanburg; Joyce Moody, of Lyman, four grandchildren, Jason Messer, Corey Messer, Elijah Johnson, Kaylin Dionne and 7 nephews. The family is at the home of his daughter, Sherri at 101 Castleford Road, Moore and will receive friends Tuesday 11:30AM - 1:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21st, with Pastor Manning Strickland officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or Legacy Outreach, P0 Box 97, Pauline, SC 29374.
