Grady Richard Reid, 84, of Floyd Road, Spartanburg, passed away Wednesday, November 13th, at Blueridge at Brookview in Gaffney.
Grady was born in Spartanburg on August 30, 1935, a son of the late Annie Lula Crocker Reid and Sam Reid and he was the widower of Margaret Greer Reid.
He retired from Spartanburg Housing Authority.
He is survived by a son; Ricky Reid and his wife Jessica, three brothers; Tommy Reid of Inman, Ervin Reid and his wife Tina of Campobello, Ralph Reid Inman, two sisters; Elizabeth Wyatt of Inman, Virginia Motts of Pacolet, and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by five brothers; Hubert, Strawberry, Roy, Bobby, and Keith.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM on Sunday, November 17th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
