Grady Oliver Bishop, Jr., 94, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at his home.

Born in Fingerville, South Carolina on August 16, 1927, he was a son of the late Pearl (Loftis) Bishop and the late Grady Oliver Bishop, Sr. and was the husband of the late Mrs. Ornan (Fowler) Bishop.

Grady retired from Kohler after 36 years, was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge # 285.

He is survived by his son, Dennis Bishop (Rachel); a daughter, Melissa Bishop Carter (Jeffrey) seven grandchildren, Anthony Bishop, James Bishop, David Bishop, Caleb Bishop, Angel Bishop, Ronnie Carter and Anna Carter; two great grandsons, Shelton Bishop and Austin Bishop and one great-great grandson.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by one brother, Carl M. Bishop.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, South Carolina with Rev. Chuck Thornton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
