Mrs. Grace Louise Shockley, 80, of 165 Campton Circle in Inman died Monday, August 13, 2007 at her home after an extended illness.



Mrs. Shockley was born in Inman on July 9, 1927 and was the daughter of the late William Martin and Mayme Louise Barnett Morgan and was the widow of Joe Marshall Shockley.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Hysmith of Inman, two sons: Joe Michael Shockley of Inman, Robert Craig Shockley and his wife, Sherri of Inman, one sister, Sharon Barton of Atlanta, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.



She retired from Hudson International now International Wire and was a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg.



Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:30 am on Wednesday, August 15, with Rev. Al Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.



The family is at her home and will receive friends Wednesday 10:30-11:30 am at Seawright Funeral Home.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan Care Hospice, First Baptist Church North Spartanburg or American Legion Post #45 Ladies Auxiliary.
