Gordon Leo Runion, 86, of 2470 Runion Road, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Gordon was born in Inman, S.C. on October 4, 1928, a son of the late Henry Earl and Jessie Alma (Greene) Runion. He was a former employee of Case Brothers and was a self — employed piano tuner. He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. Gordon is survived by a daughter, Teresa Logino, a brother, Jerry Runion (Doris), of Landrum, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral Services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20th, with Dr. Reggie Parker and Rev Donnan Lawson officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday at Seawright Funeral Home immediately following the service. Burial will be in Holston Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church, 311 Holston Creek Church Rd, Inman, SC 29349.
