Gloria was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico on December 13, 1922, a daughter of the late Josefa Yon Gomez and Lorenzo Gomez and she was the widow of Fidel Rijos. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She is survived by a daughter; Luz "Lucy" Ford and her husband Eulan "Buddy" Ford of Inman. She was also predeceased by two sons; Angel and Fidel Rijos.
