Gladys D. Atkins, 86, Inman passed away Wednesday, October 10th, at Golden Age Nursing Home.
She was born in Cleveland, N.C. on July 28, 1926, a daughter of the late Fannie Mae Russ Dellinger and Ambrose Briscoe Dellinger and was the widow of William Leroy Atkins.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Hunter of Spartanburg and a brother, Robert Dellinger of Spartanburg, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Mike and Johnny Morton and a daughter, Judy Joyce.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Friday, October 12, 2012 at 4:00pm conducted by Chaplain Dean Elliott. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Alzheimers Research, 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
