Mr. Giovanni "John Robert" DiMauro, Sr, 82, of 4261 Hwy 92, Enoree, SC passed away Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. DiMauro was born in Providence, RI on March 23, 1928, the son of the late Santo and Josephine Vinnacco DiMauro and was the husband of Janet V (Bowers) DiMauro.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters: Mary Rose Stephenson of Enoree, Janet Tougus of Warwick, RI, Helen Shipman of Missouri, 2 sons: John Robert DiMauro, Jr of Enoree, Santo DiMauro of Hopkinton, RI, sister-in-law: Mary Rosera, niece: Leona Coty and nephew: Joey Bonang all of Warwick, RI. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver, was of the Roman Catholic Faith and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Funeral services will be held in Rhode Island.
Burial will be in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
