Gilbert Bernard Fowler
Mr. Gilbert Bernard Fowler, 72, of Spartanburg, passed away Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Fowler was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 7, 1935, the son of the late Jerome and Mae (McCurry) Fowler.
He retired from Smith Outz Pharmacy in Spartanburg and was a member of Calvary Methodist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Phillips of Spartanburg, Wanda Henderson of Greenvile, Sheila Byrd of Spartanburg; three brothers, Douglas Fowler of Clifton, Jerry Wayne Fowler of Roebuck, Robert Fowler of Spartanburg; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Spartanburg, at 1 PM on Friday, June 20th, with Dr. David Whitener officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to : Calvary Methodist Church, PO Box 482 Fairforest, SC 29336.
