Gertrude Louise (Howell) Hall, 83, passed away Thursday, December 27th, at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, S.C. Mrs. Hall was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Isom and Tessie Bowers Howell and was the widow of William Hall, Jr. She retired from Stone Mfg. after 27 years of service and was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church in Landrum, SC.
She is survived by five daughters, Barbara McKelvey of Spartanburg, SC and Evelyn Eubanks of Inman, SC, Elaine Nodine of Campobello, SC, Janice Shields and Kathy Jean Hall of Inman, two sons, William Hall and Bootie Hall of Inman, five sisters, Azalee Horton and Ann Brooks of Inman,SC, Cleo Thompson of Campobello, SC, Nellie Sellars of Greer, SC, Myrtle Miller of Simpsonville, SC, and a brother, Larry Howell of Campobello, SC. There are 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Georgia Wilson and a brother, Enoc Howell
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment will be private. The family will be at their respective homes.
