Geraldine Waldrop Skinner, 99, of Inman, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Born in Inman, South Carolina, on August 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Mary (Dixon) Waldrop and William Jennings Waldrop and was the wife of the late Junior Alvin "Bud" Skinner.

She was a member of Hope Church, retired from Inman Mills after 45 years where she worked as a weaver and was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved Jesus and was a devout Christian. She was a prayer warrior, praying for her family, friends and neighbors daily. She always put the needs of others before her own.

Mrs. Skinner was a kind gentle, but strong woman who deeply loved her family. She devoted her life to raising the five sons she was so proud of.

Survivors include four sons, Gary Skinner and his wife Jan, Roger Skinner, Steve Skinner and his wife Karen and Danny Skinner along with nine grandchildren, Lynn Skinner Johnson, Jo Ellen Phillips, Felix Gary "Buddy" Skinner II, Derek Skinner, Ryan Skinner, Reagan Skinner, Steve Skinner, Jr., Samuel Thomas Skinner and Tonya Sisk along with many great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by one son, Kary Skinner: one granddaughter, Jamie Ryan and two daughters-in-law, Lois Skinner and Jo Skinner.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Wood Memorial Park in Duncan, South Carolina with Rev. Jan King officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Church, 102 John Dodd Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303 or the Charity of one's choice.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to Wesley Court and Gentiva Hospice for all the love and care given to our mom during her time there.

Her passing will leave a deep hole in our hearts, but it will be filled with memories in time.
