She was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church.
Geraldine was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 16, 1934, a daughter of the late Odessa (Turner) and Royal Lee Poteat. She was the widow of Walter Daniel Ford. Her survivors include her sons, Roger Ford, Ricky Ford (Joyce), Larry Ford (Laura), Steve Ford (Christine), and Terry Ford (Jeanette); grandchildren, Michelle (Billy), Rodney (Heather), Mandy (Jason), Richie (Heather), Casey (Dustin), Brandie (Adrian), Nicole, Stephen (Rachel), Lindsey, and Tyler; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, SC with Rev. Reggie Parker and Pastor John Smith officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 1:00 until 1:45 PM. Burial will be in Holston Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
