Georgia Horton Robinson,74, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Spartanburg. Mrs. Robinson was born in Gramling, SC on May 8, 1935, the daughter of the late James and Maudie (Turner) Horton. She was the widow of William Joseph Robinson.
She had retired from the catering business and was a member of Living Waters Community Church. Survivors include a son, Randy Robinson of Inman and a daughter Sharon Hurst also of Inman, a sister, Kathrine Oxley of Spartanburg , nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Don Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Tim Hackett and Paster Joe Geddis. The family will receive friends Saturday immediately after the service at the home of Michael Treadway, 123 Candy Apple Ct., Inman, SC in the Cinnamon Ridge Subdivision off of Hannon Rd. The family is at this location.
