Mrs. Georgia Burgess, 79, of Inman, passed away, Monday, September 17th, 2007 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Mrs. Burgess was born on January 30, 1928, the daughter of the late Alexander and Rosa Lee (Fletcher) Ballenger, and was the widow of Paul Lee Burgess. She worked at Inman Mills and retired from Abbott Laboratory, and later went to work for the Quilting Frame. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Burgess and Cudrey Landrum both of Inman, four sons, Dennis Burgess, Leary Burgess both of Inman., Paul Burgess of Macon, Ga. and Wade Burgess of Columbia, one sister Annie Parson of Inman. She was predeceased by one son Bennett Burgess.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 2 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 575 Crescent Ave. Spartanburg,SC .
