George William Shearer

Spartanburg, SC---Mr. George William Shearer, 63, of 7731 Bradley St. passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Long Island, New York, on January 10, 1950, he was the son of George William Norma Addelle (Hanlon) Shearer and was the husband of Mrs. Edna Jean (Carl) Shearer. He was a Catholic and had retired from Alcoa. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tim Shearer and his wife Amanda of Inman and two daughters, Marla Silva and Moon Martinez both of the home; three sisters and two grandsons, Mason Shearer and Noel Gonzalez. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 5-6PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2013.
