George Willy Owens

George Willy Owens, 76, of 105 Cooley Circle passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home. Born in Landrum, SC on March 20, 1942, he was the son of the late Henry Newton and Elzie Mae Belue Owens and was the loving husband of Mary (Pike) Owens having celebrated 53 years of Marriage. Mr. Owens worked for Crimson Electric Motor Repair for 35 years and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, Mary he is also survived by one son, George D. Owens of Campobello, South Carolina; one daughter, Melinda E. Moore and her husband Scott of Duncan, South Carolina; one grandson, Christopher S. Moore of Duncan, South Carolina; two sisters, Bertha Blackwell of Inman, South Carolina and Linda Blackwell and her husband Pete of Conway, South Carolina. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Inman and Margaret Owens and one brother, James Owens.
