Mr. George Dennis "Chief" Mills, 70, of 311 Rector Road passed away Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Polk County, NC on October 11, 1939, he was the son of the late Leroy and Vernie (Spicer) Mills.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lance and her husband Rick and Sheila Powers and her husband Wally all of Campobello, SC; three sisters, Carol Duncan of Duncan, SC, Lillie Ann McKelvey of Startex, SC and Alberta Lovvorn of Old Town, Florida; two brothers, Robert Mills of Fingerville, SC, and Billy Joe Mills of Inman, SC; six grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Jessica, Jonathan, Jason and Tyler.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 8th, 2010 from 5:00-6:00PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00PM.
