Mr. George J. Neff, Jr. MD, 63, of 131 Dogwood Circle, Inman passed away Friday, August 10th, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.

Dr. Neff was born in Guston, Ky on January 3, 1944, the son of the late George and Lucille (Benham) Neff, was the husband of Priscilla (Carter) Neff and was of the Presbyterian Faith.
He is survived by one daughter: Sarah Bright and husband Ralph, one son: Christopher Neff and friend Laurie Burress, all of Inman, one sister: Martha Bandy and husband James, one brother: Fred Neff and wife Loretta, all of Guston, KY, and one grandson: Alexander J. Bright.
Dr. Neff was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his Residency in the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center Department of Family Practice. After completing a one year fellowship, he was a member of the faculty of the Spartanburg Regional Department of Family Practice from 1975 to 1990, where he served as director for 5 years. In 1990 he began practicing at Wellford Family Medicine.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 11 :00 AM on Tuesday, August 14th, with Rev. Gordon Raynal officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.
