George Russell Blackwell, 89, of 166 Proctor Road, Jonesville, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
George was born in Spartanburg County on December 7, 1932, a son of the late Roey Blackwell and Allen Blackwell. He was the husband of Shirley Blackwell.
He retired from Spartan Mills after 42 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter; Rhonda Blackwell of Spartanburg, three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 15th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 16th at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
