George Albert Wolfe

George Albert Wolfe completed his life's work on Earth on May 31, 2024, at the age of 96. He was born September 14, 1927 in Gramling, South Carolina; the son of George Lee Wolfe and Mary Elizabeth Settle Wolfe. He was predeceased by his wife of 76 years, Hettie Lee Suddeth Wolfe. Albert was a proud veteran having served in the US Navy and retiring as Colonel from the United States Army Reserves. He was a graduate of Clemson College and an avid Tiger fan. He was a founding partner of Wolfe and Huskey Land Surveyors. His company measured the land and recorded plats in North Carolina as well as South Carolina. He earned the honor of Surveyor of the Year. Albert built barns, raised cows, and sold hay on his farmland until he could no longer get on his tractor. He enjoyed bowling with Hettie, and hunting pheasant in Kansas with his friends and family. Albert was a faithful member of Inman First Baptist Church. He was honored to have taught the Men's Sunday School Class for many years. He was tenacious, and hard working. Albert was very social and touched lives wherever he was with his humor, laugh, and smile. 
Albert was predeceased by his wife, mother and father, sisters: Ge'Delia Temple, Willie George, Francis Brian; brothers: Roy, Marshall, Harold, and many close friends who he missed greatly.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Bennett (Albert), sons: Douglas (Mary) and Terry (Cyndi); grandchildren: Adam Bennett, Sara Bennett Duncan, Ashley Smith, Emily Nix, Paige Nichols, Joseph, Jon and James Wolfe, and 8 great grandchildren.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends 2:30 until 3:00 Saturday, June 8th in the Atrium of Inman FIrst Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 8th at Inman First Baptist Church in Inman, with Rev. Jeremiah Childers officiating.
Burial with Military Honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church,hearing impaired devices 14 N Howard St. Inman, SC 29349.
