Gene Melton

Monty "Big Gene" Melton, 71, of 524 Lake Road, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at his residence. 

Gene was born in Spartanburg, SC on February 7, 1953, a son of the late Vera (Bailey) and Melton Ernest B Melton. He retired from Waldrop Heating and Air Conditioning.

Survivors include a sister, Brenda Melton, of Campobello; four brothers, Joe Melton, of Inman; Dan Melton and wife Michelle, of Inman; Jeff Melton, of Campobello; Tim Melton, of Inman. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Fortenberry and 2 brothers, Robert Melton and Billy Melton
