Garland "Pee Wee" Hyder

Garland "Pee Wee" Hyder, 69, of 3330 New Cut Rd. passed away Thursday, October 11th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hyder was born in Spartanburg County, SC on February 3, 1943, a son of the late Garlon Toy and Rachel Louise (Poole) Hyder. He had retired from textiles and was of the baptist faith.
He is survived by a son, Garland Keith Hyder of Spartanburg, three brothers, Hugh Hyder and his wife Geri of Inman, Johnny Hyder and his wife Katherine of Boiling Springs, SC,and Tony Hyder and his wife Judy of Inman. He has three grandchildren, Bryan Keith Hyder, Dustin Keith Hyder, and Heather Webb. There are two great grandchildren, Chloe Marie Webb and Jessica Marie Hyder. There are many nieces and nephews and a special canine companion "B". He was predeceased by one sister, Louise Bailey.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at 2:00 PM at Ft. Prince Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Monty King, The family will receive friends after the service at graveside. The family is at their respective homes.
