Gail Burnett Parris, 76, of 102 Lytle St., Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at her home. Gail was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Clyde James and Lucy Elizabeth (White) Burnett. She was the widow of Paul E Parris, retired from District Six schools and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Gail is survived by two sons Danny Parris, of Spartanburg; Paul Eddie Parris, II, of Inman, a sister, Norma McAbee, of Spartanburg, and one granddaughter, Kayla Parris. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Fairforest Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev Gary Hensley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
