Frederick Warren McAbee

Fredrick "Freddie" Warren McAbee, 68, of 122 Sonora Drive passed away Friday, August 26th, 2016 at his home. Freddie was born in Inman, SC on August 16, 1948 and was the son of the late Warren Hugh and Verlon Burgess McAbee. He was a retired truck driver with Allied Van Lines and was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and was a proud member of the Inman American Legion Post 45 and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Freddie also was a huge Carolina Gamecocks fan and a Jeff Gordan Fan.
Survivors include his son, Corey James Bailey and his wife Karen of Inman, a beloved granddaughter and the love of his life, Adriana Bailey. He also loved his best canine friend and constant companion "Chico" ! He is survived by five nephews, Warren McAbee, Joey McAbee, Tim Duncan, Roger Duncan and Michael Wilds, two nieces, Kay Wilds Ballenger and Debbie Duncan Plumley. In addition to his parents, Freddie was predeceased by his precious daughter, Hope Leigh Bailey and a brother, Walter Dean McAbee. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. A memorial service to honor his memory will follow at 6:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel. The family is at the home. A guest register is available on this website.
