Fred Humphrey Tuck, Sr.

Mr. Fred Humphrey Tuck, Sr., 87, of 307 Shoally Ridge Rd. died Friday, July 1st, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Tuck was born in Spartanburg County on August 6, 1923, the son of the late Boyce and Alie Lee Hunsinger Tuck and was the husband of Grace Buchanan Tuck who survives him at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman.
He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during WW II in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Mr. Tuck was a store manager with Community Cash Stores for over 38 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Fred H. Tuck, Jr and his wife Nancy of Lyman, Ken W. Tuck and his wife Donna of Boiling Springs, SC. a brother, Marvin Tuck and his wife Mary of Nashville, Tn., four grandchildren, Greg Tuck and his wife Jennifer, Jason Tuck and his fiance' Brandi Giles, Chris Tuck, Jeremy Tuck and two great grandchildren, Erika and Kyleigh Tuck. A brother, Elmer Lee Tuck, predeceased him.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday 1-2:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 conducted by the Rev. Glenn Rusher and the Rev. Harold King.
Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Research 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621-5602.
