Franklin "Demp" Hembree
Franklin D. Hembree, 85, of 190 Seigle Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Golden Age in Inman. Franklin was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 21, 1932, a son of Farrell Eugene and Lillie Mae Bailey Hembree. He was the widower of Kathryn June (Solesbee) Hembree, retired from Hoechst-Celanese and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. He served for over 10 years in the U.S. Army. Franklin is survived by a daughter, Cathy Hall (Wayne), of Charlotte, NC; a son, Marty Hembree, of the home; a sister, Mildred Lyles, of Landrum; a brother, John Hembree, of Inman, 4 grandchildren, Matthew
Hall, Jeremy Hembree, Angela Hembree and Christy Hembree and 7 great grandchildren He was predeceased by 2 sons, Dale Hembree and
Keith Hembree. The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 1:00 — 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 26th, with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
