Frankie Blackwell Shehan

Frankie Blackwell Shehan, 90, of 3709 Clark Road, Boiling Springs, South Carolina, formerly of Inman, South Carolina passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Lakewood Senior Living in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.

Frankie was born in Beech Springs, South Carolina on February 2, 1933, a daughter of the late Asbury Franklin "Bub" Blackwell and Mamie (Silver) Blackwell. 

She was the widow of Lewis H. Shehan and was retired from Spartanburg County District One Schools. She was a member of Inman United Methodist Church. Frankie loved horses and was a talented artist.

Frankie is survived by a sister, Miriam Bryant, niece, Marguerite Leathers, nephew, Terrell Switzer, nephew, Rodney Settle, nephew, Jeff Staton, and niece, Karen Snelling. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Jo Ann Switzer, Geneal Settle and a nephew, Randy Settle.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, January 8th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Joe Blackwelder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Methodist Church, 27 Bishop Street, Inman, South Carolina, 29349. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lakewood Senior Living and Agape Hospice.
