Mr. Frank David Evans, 82, of 725 Holston Creek Rd . passed away Friday, July 27th, 2007 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Evans was born in Treemont, Miss. on August 9, 1924 and was the son of the late Thomas and Arbele Sanders Evans. He was the widower of Joanne Kryzak Evans and had retired from Rockwell International.
Mr. Evans served on the Illinois and West Virginia State Chamber Board of Directors and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by two sons, Tyler Evans and his wife Kim of Inman, William David Evans of Greenville, one sister Ann Faust of Arkansas and one brother, Joe Evans of Miss. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Billy, David, Preston, Amanda and Skyler Evans, four great grandchildren, Dawson, Candice, Nicholas and Christopher Evans. He was predeceased by a son, Bradley Carmon Evans, a sister, Sue Evans, and a brother, Thomas Evans. The family would like to give a special thanks to Angie Bramlett, his long time caregiver.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 29th, conducted by Rev. David Nichols. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Hwy 176 in Landrum, S. C.
The family is at 725 Holston Creek Rd. and will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 2:45 P.M. at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
