Inman, SC---Frank Watson Arthur, 91, of 104 Campton Circle died Thursday, April 29th, 2010.
Mr. Arthur was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 25, 1918, the son of the late Ernest Ervin and Lenora Mae (Hammett) Arthur. He was the widower of Helen (Stephens) Arthur and was first married to the late Lillian Gilbert Arthur.
He retired from Christman/Parson's Construction Company, was a member of Inman First Baptist Church, American Legion Post 45 in Inman and was a US Army Vet of WW II.
He is survived by a son, Frank Cecil Arthur, one sister, Eunice Mae Coggins, one brother, Ernest Leon Arthur all of Spartanburg, SC, three grandchildren, Tina Johnson, Tammy Davis, and Trey McDowell. There are five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Cannon's Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery, Spartanburg , with Dr. Paul Moore officiating .The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
