Frances Morris Storey, 91, of 63 Blackstock Road Inman, formerly of N. Church Street, Landrum, passed away Friday, July 25th, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
She was born in Campobello on April 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Mattie Carolina (Wolfe) and William Ervin Morris and was the widow of Barney L. Storey.
She retired from textiles and was a member of First Baptist Church in Landrum. She is survived by a son, Barney "Bert" Storey and wife Jane of Landrum, two daughters; Julie Faye Jones and husband Bob of Clarksville, Indiana, Wanda Withrow and husband Ron of Pace, Florida, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
The family is at 210 Pacolet Drive in Landrum and will receive friends Monday 10:00am until 11:00am at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home, in Inman, at 11:00am on Monday, July 28th, with Rev. Mitch Crow officiating.
Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
