Frances Lillian Pridgeon Simpson, 82, of 159 Holly Circle Lyman, passed away Monday, February 6th, at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care.
She was born in Spartanburg on June 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Anna Beulah Crocker Pridgeon and Julian Willaby Pridgeon.
She was the widow of Garland Samuel Simpson, Jr. She had graduated from Spartanburg High School and Cecil's Business College.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lyman United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Simpson and wife Sandra of Campobello, Joey Simpson of Lyman, a sister, Sarah Lee of Inman, three grandchildren, Jodi Wright, Jennifer Simpson, Dr. Robby Simpson, two great grandchildren, Allie Wright, Garrison Wright and a special niece, Kelli Bourgeois. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Sammy Simpson and a grandson, Nicky Simpson.
The family is at the home of her son Bobby at 2385 Big Mulberry Trace and will greet friends Thursday following the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
A graveside service will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 9th, with Rev. Scott Stancil officiating.
