Mrs. Frances Ravan, 87, of 70 Ridge Road, Lyman died Sunday, January 1st, 2012 at The Cottages at Brushy Creek in Greer.
Mrs. Ravan was born in Greer on September 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Susie Masters Duncan.
She was the widow of LCDR Landrum Earl Ravan, USN (retired) and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Startex United Methodist Church and was a graduate of North Greenville Junior College.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Ravan of Georgetown, SC and Mark Ravan of Charlotte, NC, a brother, Ed Duncan of Greenville, a sister, Lucille Stokes of Tuscaloosa, AI., her longtime companion, Kermit Clawson of Lyman, and three grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Ravan.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday 1-2:00pm at Seawright Funeral Horne. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 4th, with Rev. Richard Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
