Mrs. Parris was born in Inman, SC on February 5, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Arthur James Cudd and stepmother Alma Cudd. She was the wife of James Irvin Parris, Sr.,
In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 sons: James Parris, Jr. of Wellford, Marlin Jones of Joanna, SC, Phillip (Butch) Parris of Kentucky, 1 daughter: Joyce Pittman of Joanna, SC, 2 brothers: James Cudd of Spartanburg, Wayne Cudd of Boiling Springs, 1 sister: Martha Hughes of West Virginia, 5 grandchildren and 4 great, grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter: Crystal Vaughn.
She retired as a sales clerk and was of the Church of God Faith.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 11th, with Rev. Tracy Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC. The family is at her home.
