Frances Tabb Pierce Mulligan, 91, formerly of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Frances was born in Blakely, Georgia on December 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Luther and Vera Temples Tabb. Frances was first married to the late Penn Pierce. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and a homemaker.
Frances is survived by two daughters, Dianne Rice, of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Patsy Featherston, of Pauline, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Penn Garrison Rice and his wife, Kathy; Forest Featherston; Zach Featherston and his wife, Rebecca; three great-grandchildren, David Rice; Leah Featherston and Amara Featherston.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Mrs. Mulligan was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 1:00 PM, conducted by Father Rob Brown. A gathering of friends will follow the service in the vestibule of the church.
