Frances Wanda Kozak May, 84, formerly of Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Inman, South Carolina.
Born in Streator, Illinois on December 29, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Wanda Cutright and Andrew Kozak and was the wife of the late Mr. Howard Russell May, Jr. Mrs. May served in the United States Army, was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Irby and husband Bryan, two sons, Harold May and wife Janet, Howard "Rusty" May, III and wife Rhonda, two stepdaughters, Sylvia Sleeper and husband Kipp, Synthia Speers and husband Warren, one sister, Marty Mercado and 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by one grandson, Robbie Jacobs.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 830 N. Jones Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
