Mrs. Frances Lancaster Eaton, 85, of Inman passed away Tuesday, September 20th,
2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.
Mrs. Eaton was born in Pauline, SC on September 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert M Lancaster, Sr and Mary (Rone) Lancaster and was the widow of Donald L Eaton.
She is survived by one daughter: Mary Eaton of Inman, one son: Rev Charles Eaton and wife Connie of Pauline, 2 grandchildren: Susan Moulder and husband Brian of Anderson, Daniel L Eaton of Pauline, 2 great grandchildren: Larsen and Rayna Moulder of Anderson, sister-in-law: Corrie "Pete" Lancaster of Pauline, niece: Mary Brown and nephews: Butch Lancaster and Ed West. She was predeceased by two sisters: Mary Rone West, Eugenia Vickery and one brother: Robert M Lancaster, Jr.
She was a homemaker, a long time substitute teacher in school district one and was formerly employed at Aug W Smith. Mrs Eaton was a graduate of Pauline High School and attended Spartanburg Junior College.
She was also a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg and the Eastern Star.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday 1:30 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 23rd, with Dr Mike Hamlet and Rev Ken Mayfield officiating.
Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Pauline, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church FLC, 3119 Hwy 56, Pauline, SC 29374 or Gideons International, Spartanburg North Camp, PO Box 160471, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
