Mrs. Frances Brown Ballenger, 88, of 63 Blackstock Rd. Inman, formerly of 5010 New Cut Rd, Inman passed away Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 at Magnolia Manor of Inman, after a long illness.
Mrs. Ballenger was born in Wellford, SC on May 29, 1920, the daughter of the late Thomas Oscar and Eunice (Bell) Brown. She was the widow of Marshall Ballenger.
She is survived by a son: William C. "Billy" Ballenger and wife Dena of Inman and a step granddaughter: Taylor McCullough of Inman.
She retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church.
The family is at the home of Maxie Ballenger, 4990 New Cut Rd, Inman and will receive friends Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24th, with Dr. Paul Moore and Rev. Gene Feagin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Care Hospice, 500 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
