Frances Lance Bailey

Frances Bailey, 99, of 111 River Place, Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC.

Frances was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 6, 1924, a daughter of the late Fannie (Quails) Lance and Martin Luther Lance.

She was the widow of Basil "B.J". Jennings Bailey, retired from Butte Knit, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg. 

Frances is survived by nieces, Peggy Renfro of Boiling Springs, SC, Simone Ballew of Inman, SC, Wesley Welborn of Gray Court, SC, Caroline Griffin of Gray Court, SC, Sherri Meadows of Inman, SC, Melissa Taylor of Colorado, nephews, Lancie Owens of Inman, SC, Marty Lance of Inman, SC, Lee Kirby of Moncks Corner, SC, John Kirby of Moncks Corner, SC, Steve Kirby of Inman, SC, and numerous great nieces. and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. 

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Justin Horton officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
