Florence F. Murphy, 95, of Inman, S. C. , formerly of Safety Harbor, FL. Pontiac, MI. and Sarnia Ontario Canada, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at her home. She was born in December 28, 1913 and was a member of the Northwood Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, FL.
Retired from Patterson Bookkeeping in Pontiac, MI. , she was preceded in death by her husband Percy M. Murphy of 51 years and her parents Edward and Sarah Mapletoft of Sarnia Ontario Canada.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws Vern and Patti Miller of Cedartown, GA. , Nick and Margy Pappas of Novato , CA., John and Kathy Behlert of Inman, S. C. , six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg SC 29303 or to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, PO Box 1245, Albert Lea , MN 56007 in loving concern for her great-grandson.
