Floree Bradey Simmons

Mrs. Floree Bradey Simmons of Spartanburg died Friday, December 17th, 2010 at the Regional Hospice Home. Mrs. Simmons was a native of Spartanburg and was the daughter of the late Nathan Hale and Leila Maude (West) Bradey. She was the widow of L. P. Simmons and had retired from Phillips Fibers. She attended Grace Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion, the DAV and the VFW Ladies Auxillaries.
She is survived by a son, Russell H. Simmons, a brother, Nathan Bradey, Jr. and his wife Thelma, all of Spartanburg,and a sister, Myrtle Barnes of Gaffney, SC. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Edwin H. Bolton.The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. The burial will be private in the Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
