Mrs. Fern Edith Edwards Hart, 83, of 295 E Pearl Street, Spartanburg passed away Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Hart was born in Duffield, VA. on November 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Ben and Elizabeth (Fields) Edwards.
She was the widow of Carl S. Hart, was formerly employed at Mayfair Mills and retired from Woodruff Mills. She was a member of Tabernac1e of Love ,Spartanburg, SC .
She is survived by 2 daughters: Freda Kimbrell of Pauline, Jewell Blasingame of Spartanburg, 1 son: Harold Hart of Cowpens, 3 sisters: Ruth Massingill of Kingsport, TN, Nannie Mullins of Elizabethton, TN, Eula Hart of Spartanburg, 1 brother: Clivalee Edwards of Duffield, VA, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 11 :00 AM on Friday, August 15th, with Rev. Johnny Jones and Rev. Roosevelt Kimble officiating.
Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck, SC.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday 7-9 PM. Home at
