Faye "Nannie" Melton Phillips, 79, of 730 Bradley Dill Road, Campobello, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence. Born in Spartanburg County on April 8, 1939, a daughter of the late Nellie McCarter Strange and Otis Strange. She was formerly employed with South Carolina Elastic and Butte Knit of Spartanburg. Her survivors include a son, James "Mike" Melton of the home, three daughters, Sandra, wife of Scott Human, of Campobello; Debbie Harris, of Campobello; Gwen, wife of Steve Shipman, of Campobello; a sister, Pat High, a brother, Donald Strange, sister-in-law, Shirley Strange, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters; Belvie Strange, Melvie Cox, Beula Fowler, Reba Pack, Stella Loftis, and brothers; Rev. JB Strange, Audie Strange, and Randolph Strange.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating and will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
