Dorothy Faye Hammett Ertzberger, 87, of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Faye was born in Inman, S.C. on November 29, 1926, a daughter of the late Albert and Pauline (Brittain) Hammett. She retired from Camp Care Nursing Home, was a member of Little Mtn. Baptist Church and was organist at Aldersgate United Methodist Church for a number of years. She is survived by a son, Randy Ertzberger (Lynn), of Inman, grandchildren Marci Myers (Chris) of Inman, Lorrie Large (Jeff) of Campobello, Andrea Ertzberger of Greer and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 19, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 19th with Rev Gary Byrd, Mr Eddie Whitaker and Mr John Messer officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, P0 Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304 or the charity of one's choice. The family is at their respective homes.
