Faye Garrison Culbreth, 80, of 3364 Highway 357 Inman, passed away Sunday, December 7th, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
She was born in Dacusville, S.C. on March 27, 1934, a daughter of the late Ethel Garren Garrison and Melvin Garrison and she was the wife of Bobby Culbreth who survives her.
She was the co-owner of Culbreth's Cleaners and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for the small children for a number of years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter; Christie Mahaffey and her husband Russell of Inman, three sisters; Elizabeth Hendrix of Easley, Brenda Griffin of Travelers Rest, Gail Stribling of Greenville, and two grandchildren; Christen Mahaffey and Dalton Mahaffey of Inman. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Renee Culbreth and two brothers, Charles Garrison and Leroy Garrison.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday 2:00 until 3:00 at Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman at 3:00 on Tuesday, December 9th, with Dr. Tim Clark and Rev. Henry Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Spring Park Fund at Holly Springs Baptist Church 251 Hannon Road Inman, SC 29349.
