Faye Weaver Culbreth, 82, of 8431 Kimber Lane, Spartanburg, SC., passed away Wednesday, November 19th, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Culbreth was born in Green Creek, N.C. on August 24, 1926, the daughter of the late John Earl and Julia (Cash) Weaver. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Culbreth. She was a lifetime member of Sandy Plains Presbyterian Church in Green Creek, N. C. and a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Diann Montana and her husband Ron of Inman and five "Special Daughters", Kristina Few, Melissa Bradley, Susan Westbrooks, Gail Bagwell and Karen Friday. Mrs. Culbreth was predeceased by a brother, Harold Weaver.
Funeral services will be held at Sandy Plains Presbyterian Church at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 22nd, with Rev. Paul Mulner officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour before the service in the church sanctuary. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
