Everett L. McAbee

Everett L McAbee, 80, of 135 Johnson Avenue, Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC.

Everett was born in Gramling, SC on December 25, 1943, a son of the late Mildred McAbee and James Rufus McAbee.

He retired from Mitsubishi and was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church in Inman, SC.

Everett is survived by a son, Lamar McAbee and wife Rhonda, of Inman, SC, a daughter, Carla Edwards and husband Paul, of Inman, SC; three sisters, Jean Keller, of Inman, SC; Nancy Brackett and husband Ronnie , of Campobello, SC; Sandra Alexander and husband Marshall, of Lyman, SC, two brothers, James McAbee and wife Virginia, of Lyman Lake, SC; Alfred McAbee and wife Katherine, of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Nikki Baldridge, Ashley Kimbrell, Sheree Edwards, Brooke Sisk, great grandchildren, Kenyon Fuentes, Shane Kimbrell, Kashton McAbee, Kristian Young, Annie Young, Eli Young and Elizabeth Kimbrell. He was predeceased by sisters, Peggy Bishop, Shirley Hawkins, Evelyn Aretta McAbee and Sybil Mae McAbee and brother, Bobby McAbee.


The family is at the home of his son, Lamar, 194 Skinner Road, Inman and will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, SC 

A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, SC with Rev Paul Edwards and Rev. Randy Smith officiating.
