Evelyn MacFadyen Swain

Evelyn MacFadyen Swain, 92, of Inman, South Carolina passed away Monday, October 30th, 2023 at RoseCrest Retirement Community.  Evelyn was the daughter of Evelyn and James MacFadyen and widower of James Swain.  She worked in banking, at FACE Learning Center and Union Services.  She graduated from Shaw High School and attended Western Reserve University.  Evelyn was longtime member of Springs of Grace Lutheran Church. 

Evelyn was a very loving mother and doting grandmother.  She was a gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor.  Evelyn is survived by her daughters Liz Crawley, Sue Martin, Sandra Wigney, son Zack Williams, grandchildren Hunter, Taylor, Jennifer, Jay, Sean, Melissa, Bradley, Kimberly, Brittany, Keegan and 9 great grand children.  Evelyn was predeceased by her brother James MacFadyen and son Pete Williams.   

A Celebration of her Life will be held at Springs of Grace Lutheran Church on November 18, 2023 at 4:00pm with Pastor Hobby Outten officiating.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to RoseCrest Retirement Community or Wesley Court Assisted Living who lovingly took care of her.
