Evelyn Eva Emory Shipman, 88, of 200 Strickland Road, Campobello, South Carolina, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Evelyn was born in Clifton, South Carolina on October 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Eva (Duckett) Emory and Thomas Emory.
She worked as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Evelyn is survived by a brother, Dennis Emory of Inman, a son, Steve Shipman and wife Gwen, of Campobello, two grandchildren, Chris and JD and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Mitchell and Tony and four sisters, Sara, Lois, Louise and Norma.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29th at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 30th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
